Job PostingSummary of Responsibilities: The due diligence coordinator is primarily responsible for supporting every stage of the due diligence process by coordinating the ordering, execution, and reporting of due diligence inspections. This role is responsible for gathering information promptly from key stakeholders, coordinating inspection schedules, and ensuring that the final due diligence package that will be presented to the client is polished and professional. The due diligence coordinator also acts as a liaison between key internal stakeholders and inspection software suppliers.Primary Responsibilities and Objectives:Provide data-gathering tools and reporting templates for new business and operations associates conducting due diligence inspectionsSchedule and host due diligence kick-off calls and emailsPrepare due diligence agreements for executionFacilitate software set up for due diligence inspectionsTrack inspections in real-time and raise any areas of concern to internal leadership at the propertyPartner with the key internal stakeholders and the client to gather due diligence documentation promptlyUtilize a tracking tool to report on diligence KPIs, including expensesFacilitate final report creation for timely delivery to the clientProcess invoices from due diligence projectsMaintain checklists, templates, policies, practices, and other documentation related to the due diligence processMaintain due diligence software platform templates, rules, and usersEnsure the due diligence software provider adheres to Avenue5 branding standards and any other policies and procedures related to due diligence reportingStay up to date on curriculum, platform, and company policy changesAdhere to company best practices and local, state, and federal Fair Housing requirementsPerform other duties as assignedEducation and Experience: College degree and/or CPM certification is required for this position. Graduate degree is preferred. A minimum of 15 years of experience in management and the multi-family real estate industry is required. Real estate license as required by state or local law.Skills and Requirements:Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skillsUnderstanding of property management software systemsExcellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to othersProfessional verbal and written communication skillsAbility to conduct presentations or speak in public to large groups of peopleStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to read and comprehend financial statements, such as budgets, etc.Comprehension of federal fair housing laws and any applicable local housing provisionsAbility to make quick and effective decisionsMust have strong leadership ability including effective decision-making and the ability to multitaskAbility to negotiate a contractAbility to effectively manage a teamAbility to set and meet goals and deadlinesAbility to maintain flexibility and creativity in a variety of situationsAbility to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints and maintain confidentialityAbility to travel on all forms of commercial transportationRequired to complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion training within the first 30 days of employmentScheduling: Required to maintain a regular schedule which may also require working outside of regular schedule, weekends, and non-traditional holidays. Ability to travel (over 10%) including overnight.Environment: Exposure to environment typically found in an office building.
