Fiscal And Policy Analyst (Bpq)This position will work with the Budget Director to execute several budget and fiscal responsibilities of the Office of the Queens Borough President. Duties include: executing discretionary funding contracts, including working with funding recipients to ensure completeness of all contract requirements; reviewing contracts with Agency Chief Contracting Officer to determine contract compliance with City rules and determining eligibility of capital funding requests; analyzing in detail the New York City Preliminary, Executive, and Adopted Budget; assisting the Budget Director in any other functions related to budget and fiscal matters; agency Tin match administrator; vendor creation and compliance; meeting with various organizations to discuss funding requests; compiling and processing budget data for analysis; and assisting with interoffice Fiscal Operations. Position may require some night and weekend work during peak times.Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications 1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or 2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or 3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above.
