This is a full-time, 12-month long (extension possible), contract opportunity that is hybrid onsite in Santa Monica, CA. The application deadline for this opportunity is Wednesday, June 26th 2024.


Sr. Specialist, Internal Communications Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive internal communication strategies.
  • Create engaging content for internal channels, including newsletters, email communications, SharePoint pages, and presentations.
  • Draft preliminary communication plans to support cross-functional initiatives.
  • Collaborate with teams to gather accurate and relevant information for communications.
  • Assist the Director of Internal Communications with quarterly business updates to employees.
  • Manage the editorial calendar to ensure timely delivery of communications.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication efforts, collecting metrics and feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Support various internal communication projects, including event coordination, consulting, and planning.


Sr. Specialist, Internal Communications Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal communications or a related field, focusing on strategic planning and execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, etc.), and SharePoint Technologies.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and engaging employees through compelling content
