Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing overall leadership for the Maintenance Department
  • Ensure the highest level of workplace safety and full compliance with environmental permits, government regulations, and corporate policies.
  • Liaise with Production departments to maximize equipment availability.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective preventative maintenance programs, and collaborate with senior management on equipment and technological changes


Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in a Lumber or Wood Manufacturing Industry
  • Supervisory experience a must
  • Proven ability in safety management, leadership, and development skills, with strong organizational capabilities to adapt to changing business conditions.
  • Extensive experience with CMMS and preventative maintenance programs, supported by a background as a millwright or electrician, or equivalent experience and education.
