We seek a talented and detail-oriented Solidworks CAD Technician to join our dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing success.


We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to create, modify, and manage 2D and 3D models and technical drawings using Solidworks software. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in CAD drafting, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a keen eye for detail. This role is essential in supporting our engineering and production teams by ensuring that all designs meet the required specifications and standards.


In this role you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed 2D and 3D models and technical drawings using Solidworks.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure designs are feasible and manufacturable.
  • Revise and update existing CAD files as needed.
  • Generate assembly drawings and BOMs (Bill of Materials).
  • Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Assist in the creation of prototypes and conduct design validation tests.
  • Maintain organized records of all design files and related documentation.
  • Stay updated with the latest Solidworks features and industry best practices.


Requirements


Qualified candidates will have the following skills and experience:

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, CAD Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CAD Technician using Solidworks.
  • Understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve design issues.
