Role: Angular and Node.js Developer

Location: Washington, DC (Onsite)

Candidate must be able to obtain NACI (Public Trust) security clearance.

Responsibilities : The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable web applications using Angular for the frontend and Node.js for the backend. The candidate should be passionate about technology, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Node.js and Angular development including building the server-side logic and developing web applications.

• Integrating Node.js backend with Angular frontend.

• Ensuring the application is responsive and operating efficiently.

• Implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms.

• Testing and debugging activities.

• Setting up deployment pipelines for continuous integration and development.

• Monitoring application performance and addressing issues.

• Updating and maintaining dependencies.

• Working closely with designers and other developers to implement and refine features.

• Keeping up with latest trends and technologies in Node.js, Angular and web development in general.

Qualifications

Below mentioned are the list of technical expertise the developer should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
  • Proven experience with Angular and Node.js development
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web technologies
  • Experience with database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL)
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., AWS CodeCommit).
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.
  • Strong team orientation.
  • Willingness and ability to share knowledge.
  • Ability to be effective in politically sensitive, high-profile projects.
  • Exhibit integrity and high ethical standards.
  • Be proactive and self-motivated.
  • Possess excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
