We are looking for 4 years of dispatching, shop scheduling or production planning experience in a computerized manufacturing system environment.


Job Title: Scheduler

Location: Naples, FL

Duration: 6 months contract (May extend depending on the client needs)

Work schedule: 1st shift Monday - Friday


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate the timely movement and processing of parts across multiple programs to meet customer delivery schedules.
  • Update production and inventory control systems with accurate and timely information to ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Stage and coordinate work across manufacturing areas to optimize resource utilization and meet schedules.
  • Collaborate with support groups to address work orders on hold and manage work order splits in coordination with inspection teams.
  • Develop and implement daily work schedules, short-term capacity plans, and build plans with other functional groups.
  • Address short-term capacity conflicts by coordinating staffing adjustments, overtime, machine utilization, and rerouting as needed.
  • Prepare customer status reports, respond to shipping information requests, and ensure proper packaging to prevent damage.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Four years of dispatching, shop scheduling or production planning experience in a computerized manufacturing system environment or demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities.
  • Proficient in the application of MRP and APICS.
  • Knowledge of AMAPS preferred.
  • Personal computer skills required.
  • Thorough understanding of manufacturing routings, travelers and blueprints.
  • Ability to provide positive leadership/training in a team environment.
  • May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must demonstrate effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
