Our client, a Top Entertainment brand, is seeking a PR Coordinator to join their team to assist with award shows and events. This is a hybrid onsite opportunity in Los Angeles, requires previous PR coordinating experience within the entertainment industry, and starts as a 6 month full time contract opportunity.


  • Rate Range: $30-33 per hour.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist the PR & Events team with awards-related events, including red-carpet premieres, press junkets, and screenings.
  • Gather and manage all assets for award entries, such as screening codes, tracking, reviewing, routing, and submitting clips for awards submissions and shows.
  • Assemble and manage press copy, clips, photography, and other necessary assets.
  • Maintain and update the awards team calendar and coordinate meetings across multiple departments.
  • Coordinate talent travel arrangements, including air, ground transportation, and accommodations, and handle all talent itineraries.
  • Ensure timely conveyance of invoices to the finance department.
  • Maintain the awards database and all recordkeeping, ensuring information is up-to-date and press-ready.


Required Qualifications:


  • 2+ years of experience in entertainment awards, publicity, or talent relations.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities related to awards strategy for an entertainment brand.
  • Ability to work effectively under changing priorities, deadlines, and daily time constraints.
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Google Docs.
