Position Summary

• Serve as the inside carrier representative, coordinating all aspects of shipping for a major steel processing facility Randleman NC.

Responsibilities

• Review shipping orders and manage logistics operations to assure shipping needs are met.
• Coordinate and schedule all loading and customer deliveries
• Assure safety of all loads following proper chaining and tarping practices.
• Complete required paperwork.
• Work closely with staff to assure quality customer service.
• Assure work activities are performed according to QMS procedures and requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dispatching
• Computer Proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite, Transportation Management/Logistics systems.
• McLeod experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong oral communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills
• Customer service skills
• Position requires: Standing, walking, stooping, and

climbing; requires physical agility and dexterity. Subject to weather and temperature indoor and outdoor conditions.

• Ability to see, communicate, hear and utilize electronic communication devices.
