  • Designing, implementing, and configuring network equipment, including Meraki switches, Meraki Wireless Access Points, Meraki Firewalls, Cisco APs, and Cisco Firewalls.
  • Setting up network and switches as well as AQ testing in the lab
  • Work with support team and vendor to setup cluster red boxes
  • Handle UPS-related issues, including replacing batteries and UPS units, and programming the UPS system as needed to ensure uninterrupted power supply to critical systems.
  • Resolving wireless network issues, including replacing access points and programming new access points as needed to ensure that all users have access to the wireless network.
  • Resolving switch-related issues, including replacing switches, configuring new switches, and shipping them to stores as needed to ensure that all network connections are properly configured and functioning.
  • Dispatching technicians to install network equipment and test, ensuring that all equipment is properly installed and functioning.
  • Collaborating with the Support teams to troubleshoot and resolve various network issues as they arise.
  • Work with support team and vendor to implement site-2-site VPN tunner and advertise the network based on the requirement
  • Work with field engineers to setup the network equipment at the location
  • Configure the Untrusted SVI and Guest WIFI SVI along with the vendor to ensure that all systems are properly secured and compliant with company policies.
  • Work with vendors to get quotes for network equipment, place orders, track and maintain the inventory
  • Decommission network equipment that is no longer in use
  • Reviewing and updating network documentation on a regular basis to ensure that it is up-to-date and reflects the current state of the network.
  • Creating and maintaining detailed network diagrams that include all relevant information about the network topology, IP addresses, and VLANs.
  • Working with the support team and vendor to set up labs with switches and wireless access points to support testing and development.
  • Configuring wireless access points with SSIDs for mPOS testing to enable the testing of mobile point-of-sale systems.
  • Configuring the network and setting up Red boxes for Retail lab testing to provide a controlled environment for testing new systems and processes.
  • Configuring routes and opening ports as requested to ensure that all necessary network connections and access are properly configured.
  • Provisioning user accounts and setting up SFTP access for users and groups to ensure that all users have the necessary access to the SFTP server.
  • Setting up SFTP client applications on users' computers to enable users to access the SFTP server.
  • Configuring the SFTP server to ensure that it is properly secured and meets the company's standards for data security.
  • Monitoring the SFTP server to identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Exposure to LAN/WAN setup, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in installing and configuring DNS, and DHCP server.
  • Extensive knowledge in different networking protocols DHCP, DNS, FTP, SFTP, TFTP, Quality of Service (QOS), PAP, CHAP, HTTPS, ICMP, TCP, UDP.
  • Strong Knowledge in WAN technologies including HDLC, Point to Point, and Frame Relay


Experience Required:


  • This resource should have experience and background with handling Meraki Switches, AP, Firewalls etc
  • Strong problem resolution skills with ability to identify, diagnose and resolve network problems.
  • Good to have – Knowledge with SD WAN, Fortinet devices
  • Ability to manage various software, hardware upgrades and projects
  • Ability to work effectively with staff, various stakeholders, business partners and vendors.
  • Ability to speak, read and write English.
  • Experience with ITIL based systems such as ServiceNow
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and vendors. Ability to function in a team environment effectively and professionally.
  • Ability to function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity.
  • Good communication skills.
