The Houseperson should take pride in providing exceptional guest experiences by ensuring the hotel common areas are properly cleaned and maintained.We are looking for a Full-Time Houseperson to work 5 days a week, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Days off will vary. Weekends include a $2/hr. shift premium Starting Rate: $18.69/hr. Potential for increase is based on experience.Areas of responsibility for our Houseperson include:Responding to guest requests and inquiries.Cleaning assigned public and housekeeping areas, including lobby, public restrooms, fitness and meeting rooms.Stocking of linen and supply closets.Maintain the cleanliness of the hallways and stairwells.Assists with trash removal, in general areas and for room attendants.Performing duties of a housekeeper, as needed.Assisting in Laundry, as needed.Conducting light maintenance; including, troubleshooting, changing light bulbs, filters and batteries, moving large objects.May be asked to assist in changing over the meeting room.Our next team-member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferredReading, math, and communication skillsThe ability to work in both a team environment and independentlyMust be able to lift 50 lbs. on a frequent basisAvailability to holidays and weekends is requiredAdhere to brand and company standardsWorking for The High Companies:You are eligible for Hilton or Marriott room discountsYou are eligible for Perfect Attendance AwardsYou are eligible to utilize our Health Coach and Registered DieticianEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) with Aetna Resources for LivingYou are eligible to participate in the company's 401k retirement savings planYou are eligible to participate in Coworker Activity Committee (CAC) eventsYou are eligible to nominate and to receive the Good Measure AwardHigh FiveSafety Shoe Reimbursement
