Room Attendants should take pride in providing exceptional guest experiences by ensuring the hotel guest rooms and common areas are properly cleaned and maintained. Room Attendant team members could spend their days in various areas of the housekeeping department including laundry, common area cleaning, and room cleaning.This position will be located at the SpringHill Suites in Mt Laurel, NJ.This is a Part-Time position (weekends only) with the ability to work following schedule: 9:00am-5:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Please note: shift end times will vary based on occupancy rate and workload. Weekends include a $2/hr. shift premium Starting Rate: $18.69/hr. Potential for increase is based on experience.Areas of responsibility for our Room Attendants include:Cleaning the guest rooms and common areas according to brand standards in the allotted amount of timeVacuuming carpet and furniture.Cleaning and dusting furniture.Cleaning kitchenettes and washing the dishes in suites.Changing bed linens.Cleaning the guest room bathroom.Cleaning high touch areas of the hotel to meet brand standardsAssisting in the laundry room: washing, drying, folding, and sorting laundry.Maintaining the linen cart and ensuring supplies are neatly organized.Ensuring the security of guest rooms and privacy of guests.Our next team-member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications:A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) preferred.The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.The ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20lbs.The ability to work in both a team environment and independently.The ability to support any property owned by High Hotels, Ltd. in the Lancaster, PA area.Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.Working for The High Companies:You are eligible for Hilton or Marriott room discountsYou are eligible for Perfect Attendance AwardsYou are eligible to utilize our Health Coach and Registered DieticianEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) with Aetna Resources for LivingYou are eligible to participate in the company's 401k retirement savings planYou are eligible to participate in Coworker Activity Committee (CAC) eventsYou are eligible to nominate and to receive the Good Measure AwardHigh FiveSafety Shoe ReimbursementEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities
