Key Responsibilities


Investor Relations:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, addressing inquiries and providing timely updates on portfolio performance, investment strategies, and key updates.
  • Prepare and distribute regular investor communications, including quarterly reports, newsletters, and investment updates.
  • Assist in the due diligence process for potential investors, providing necessary documentation, responding to inquiries, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Organize and participate in investor events, webinars, and meetings to facilitate dialogue, address inquiries, and strengthen relationships.
  • Gather feedback from investors to understand their expectations and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date investor records and databases.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance investor relations and contribute to the continuous improvement of investor engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute investor relations marketing strategies and initiatives.

Portfolio Company Relations:

  • Act as the liaison between the firm and portfolio companies, ensuring clear and consistent communication on financial strategies and product updates.
  • Assist in onboarding new portfolio companies and facilitating their integration into our network.
  • Coordinate and manage regular check-ins with portfolio companies to monitor progress, gather updates, and provide support.
  • Support portfolio companies with resources and connections to help them achieve their growth objectives.

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Collect, analyze, and report on key performance metrics for both investors and portfolio companies.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track investor and portfolio company performance via Salesforce
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all investor and portfolio company records.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Entrepreneurship or similar.
  • 2-4 years of experience in investor relations, client services, or a related role within the venture capital and private equity industries, with a strong emphasis on Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG).
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Slack and Salesforce
  • Deep understanding of the CPG industry and its unique challenges and opportunities.
  • Demonstrated passion for the venture capital industry with a track record of staying informed about market trends, innovative technologies, and emerging opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to attend networking events both locally and within the domestic US. Light travel may be required (5-10%).
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Initiative and comfort working in a fast-paced, start up environment.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
