Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented individual who will be responsible for social media management for a variety of pet brands particularly in the reptile space. In this position, you will be expected to collaborate with the marketing team to curate and schedule social media content for various brands. You will also be responsible for tracking and reporting analytics, writing captivating copy, and social media engagement.

Comfortability around reptiles and office dogs is required.

Part Time: 20 hours/week with potential to go full-time in the future.

Onsite: Must be able to work at the WeGro Co. office in Hull, MA Monday-Thursday, 9am-2pm

Compensation: $25/hour

Start Date: June 3rd            

Responsibilities

• Create and manage a content calendar for multiple social media channels and brands.
• Track analytics across social media platforms.
• Correspond with customers via social media comments/DM’s.
• Work with the marketing team to curate content around strategic marketing campaigns for multiple brands.
• Research trends and marketing best practices.
• Assist with content creation when needed.

Qualifications

• Passion for animals/understanding of marketing in the pet industry
• Experience and comprehensive understanding of various social media platforms: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, and Linkedin
• Understanding of social media strategy (i.e. hashtag optimization, algorithms)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency in Canva
• Detail oriented
• Creative thinker
• Ability to work within branding guidelines for multiple brands.
• Works well in a team setting and with solo projects
• Must have a sense of humor :)
