We’re Hiring


Amae Health is seeking an empathetic Licensed Mental Health Therapist to partner with us in providing care for complex adult patients. This role will be in person at our Los Angeles (90024) clinic, full-time. We are open to a flexible part or full time schedule for the right candidate.


About the Job


The Licensed Mental Health Therapist brings experience providing individual and group therapy to adults, using evidence-based interventions, and will be required to work within a multidisciplinary treatment team during clinic hours. In this role, it is imperative to take a person-centered approach, while delivering evidence-based interventions and practice measurement-based care, in an integrated care setting.The Mental Health Therapist will provide individual and group therapy to patients experiencing serious mental illness, as well as psychoeducation and support for patients’ families. Additional responsibilities include providing consultation to therapists on the treatment team, which may include licensed therapists as well as trainees, as well as assisting with program development.


About You


  • An unrestricted active registered license in California as a Psychologist (PsyD), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Clinician (LCMHC)
  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment and establishes positive relationships with other medical professionals.
  • At least 1 year of experience in severe mental illness.
  • Experience and interest in working with adults.
  • Experience in evidence-based interventions, including CBT, DBT, or MI.
  • Ability to navigate challenging situations with professionalism.
  • Thorough understanding of confidentiality and appropriate documentation standards.
  • Highly organized with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Possess strong listening skills and excellent verbal communication capabilities.
