Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in building and optimizing modern analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure data services. You will be responsible for developing scalable data pipelines, designing and maintaining data models, and delivering actionable insights through Power BI dashboards and advanced analytics. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with end users and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and optimize analytics solutions within Microsoft Fabric. Develop and maintain data pipelines and integration workflows using Azure Data Factory. Work with Azure Cosmos DB (NoSQL) with a focus on JSON data modeling and querying. Build scalable data warehouses and analytics environments using Azure Synapse Analytics. Design and implement robust data models supporting self-service and enterprise reporting. Develop advanced dashboards and reports using Power BI, including DAX and Power Query. Perform data transformations leveraging SQL and PySpark. Collaborate with end users to gather requirements, validate data accuracy, and ensure usability of analytics solutions. Drive best practices in data governance, security, and performance optimization. Required Skills & Experience: Strong expertise in Azure Cosmos DB (NoSQL) and JSON data structures. Proven experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and large-scale data solutions. Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory for ETL and data integration. Advanced proficiency in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and dashboard development. Strong background in data modeling and dimensional design. Proficient in SQL and PySpark for data processing and transformation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with end users and business stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering actionable insights. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in cloud-first data and analytics environments. Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric ecosystem and emerging analytics capabilities. Prior experience in enterprise-level data governance and BI solutioning.
