Customer Support Specialist

The Customer Support Specialist should be a great brand ambassador who is willing to go the extra mile to ensure satisfaction one customer at a time. Candidates should have excellent time management skills and be passionate about customer service and self-improvement. The Customer Support Specialist will report to the Customer Service Sales Manager and will have direct interaction with other department leaders.
Job Responsibilities
- Create Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, and billing documents daily
- Collaborates with Logistics Manager to ensure inbound and outbound shipment schedules are confirmed with customers and suppliers
- Interprets customer requests, monitors performance and delivery
- Frequently liaise with Sales and supply team to stay abreast and proactive with customer feedback and resolve any customer-related concerns in a professional manner
- Assist the Accounting department in collection efforts
- Assures key departmental objectives are completed in a timely manner
- Recommends and implements strategies for process, quality, or service improvements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- HS diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in customer service; lubricants or chemical industry a plus but not required
- Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work in a team
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with an emphasis on building strong relationships
- Confident at troubleshooting and conflict resolution
- The ability to respond appropriately under pressure
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks and achieve aggressive deadlines
- Willingness to learn and search for creative solutions
