WHAT DOES YOUR DAY AS A THERAPIST ENTAIL?


As a Therapist, you start your day by reviewing client files and assessing progress toward established goals and objectives. Each therapy session is tailored to the unique needs of the individual, with carefully crafted care plans guiding the therapeutic journey. You will conduct both individual and group psychotherapy sessions, implementing evidence-based interventions to address a range of mental health concerns. Utilizing a variety of tools and techniques, including drug testing when necessary, you will offer support and guidance to clients as they navigate their personal challenges. With empathy and expertise, you foster a safe and nurturing environment for healing and growth.


REQUIREMENTS FOR A THERAPIST


• Willingness to work onsite with potential for occasional remote work

• Master's degree or higher in social work, clinical mental health counseling, or marriage and family therapy from an accredited university

• Current CSW, LCSW, AMFT, LMFT, ACMHC, or CMHC license

• Located in Tooele or willing to commute


Experience with group therapy and substance use therapy is preferred but not required.
