Billing Coordinator

About the Firm:

  • CFS is working with a prominent over 40 year old manufacturing company that also has a construction component to their business.
  • They are seeking a Billing Coordinator to join their accounting team immediately
  • This role will be reporting into the Controller and will be supported by their team
  • The position will be in office full time in their Middlesex, NJ office

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Review and prepare billing

• Work with the Project Managers in collecting data for the billing of their clients

• Prepare summary of amounts earned, billed and collected to support final (retention) billings

• File duplicate copies of billings and lien releases

• File photocopies of checks received

• Maintain job billing files

• Respond to inquiries regarding billings

Qualifications of the Billing Coordinator should include:

  • Ideally 1+ years of relevant billing/AR experience at a construction or professional service firm with project billing
  • Basic Excel skills required; experience with third party billing online systems is a major plus
  • Reliable, punctual individual who is motivated to learn more in the industry
