The Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) is a trade association with nearly 20,000 members, serving the needs of hotel owners across the United States. We are seeking a driven, results-focused self-starter. AAHOA has a roll-up-your-sleeves, get-it-done culture and is committed to helping members excel. You will manage the delivery logistics of learning experience programs via digital education and live events through various resource platforms. 


Duties and Responsibilities


Hotel Owners Academy Webinar and Digital Education Project Management


  • Plans, sets up, and moderates live webinars by welcoming attendees, introducing subject matter expert(s), running polls, coordinating Q&A, and interacting with subject matter experts
  • Provides technical support to guest presenters with audio, camera, and other logistical support
  • Collaborates with internal marketing and communications team members to ensure programs created are on-brand and built to drive audience size and achieve targeted program satisfaction ratings
  • Follows up for each webinar by analyzing audience engagement and satisfaction and preparing stakeholder reporting
  • Develops, organizes, and maintains webinar library organizational structure
  • Implements systems to ensure webinar offerings remain updated, relevant, and aligned with on-demand viewing business protocols
  • Finds innovative ways to redistribute and repurpose created content for blogs, social channels, PDF job aids, and beyond
  • Continuously improves the AAHOA webinar/webcast value proposition by promoting it within AAHOA’s vendor and industry partner community

Learning Content Management and Certificate Program Management

  • Creates/updates Learning Events calendar
  • Maintains educational resources within the association management system (AMS) and provides membership support
  • Manages educational content additions, deletions, and updates 
  • Ensures membership can register for webinars, webcasts, virtual workshops, and live educational events 
  • Oversees curriculum monetization processes
  • Administers partner content offerings, including external certificate courses and certification programs
  • Continuously assesses all facets of learner content engagement, course ratings, effectiveness and manages stakeholder reporting
  • Collaborates in the development of new educational programming and promotion
  • Supports annual efforts to develop and deliver AAHOA Convention Education and regionally held Hotel Owner Conferences (HOCs)


Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related discipline
  • Proven success in building, delivering, and supporting adult education
  • Association resource development/management experience preferred
  • Proven digital skills and a quick learner who embraces new technologies
  • Demonstrated competence in delivering webinars, podcasts, and virtual events
  • Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools, e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS), e.g., WordPress, Drupal
  • Familiarity with open-source, installed, or custom-built learning management systems (LMS)
  • Proficiency working in Google Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Slides
  • Comfortable with project management platforms, such as Basecamp or Slack
  • Success in navigating change and having cultural awareness
  • Growth mindset with history of learning and quickly putting new skills to use
  • Excellent problem-solver with data analytics skills
  • High-intensity work ethic and positive attitude
  • Thrives under pressure; efficiently balances priorities and deadlines
  • Works with a high level of independence and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and comfortable engaging leadership
  • Proven writing, editing, and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail 
  • Strong planning and project management skills and an excellent time manager
