We are seeking an experienced Director / Senior Director of Product Strategy to lead the global go-to-market strategy for our AI product line. This individual will be responsible for driving positioning, messaging, content, and field enablement that differentiates Pure's AI offerings in a highly competitive marketplace. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, marketing acumen, and enterprise customer understanding. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of AI/ML ecosystems (LLMs, RAG, Agents, Co-Pilots, data fabrics, pipelines, warehouses, and lakes), combined with a proven ability to translate complex technologies into compelling value propositions for C-level buyers, technical audiences, and industry analysts.At Pure, we are building more than productswe are building the future of data and AI. As a marketing leader, you will shape how enterprises view Pure's AI solutions and influence how industries adopt AI-driven transformation.What You'll DoDefine and articulate the value proposition for Pure's AI product line across customer personas, industries, and geographies.Create differentiated messaging that highlights technical strengths (LLMs, MCP-based agents, RAG, data platforms) and business outcomes.Ensure consistency across all channelswebsite, sales materials, analyst relations, and customer communications.Develop and execute the global GTM strategy in partnership with Product Management, Sales, and Engineering.Own product launches, ensuring coordinated execution across PR, AR, demand generation, field marketing, and customer success.Equip sales teams and partners with the tools, training, and collateral they need to successfully position and sell AI-driven solutions.Act as a spokesperson for Pure's AI vision in customer meetings, industry events, analyst briefings, and media opportunities.Build credibility as a thought leader by shaping the AI narrative around data fabrics, pipelines, and enterprise AI adoption.Partner with industry influencers and ecosystem partners to amplify Pure's presence in the AI landscape.Drive competitive intelligence and market analysis to inform product strategy, pricing, and positioning.Lead customer advisory boards and feedback programs to capture voice-of-customer insights and translate them into actionable marketing initiatives.Collaborate with Product Management to align roadmap priorities with market demand and customer needs.We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the office in compliance with Pure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.What You Bring15+ years in product marketing, solutions marketing, or related roles in enterprise software, SaaS, or data infrastructure companies.Demonstrated success in launching and scaling AI/ML-driven products, ideally in the areas of LLMs, RAG, Agents, or enterprise data platforms.Deep understanding of enterprise data ecosystems (data warehouses, lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, semantic layers).Experience working with Fortune 500 customers and selling into technical and executive audiences, preferably with early stage startups.Strong technical foundation in AI/ML, data management, and cloud platforms.Exceptional storytelling skillsable to simplify complex concepts into compelling narratives.Proven ability to influence across product, sales, marketing, and executive teams.Strong public speaking and executive presentation skills.Results-driven mindset with experience building pipeline and accelerating revenue growth.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or related field required.MBA or advanced degree preferred.Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
