About the Role:

Sojos Capital is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Facilities Maintenance to lead all maintenance operations for our maintenance division, Square Services, in Indianapolis, IN. This key leadership position is responsible for overseeing vendor and contractor relations, negotiating pricing for services, and managing a team of qualified maintenance and landscaping employees.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all maintenance operations for Square Services.
  • Manage vendor and contractor relations, including negotiating pricing for services.
  • Manage vendor selection and vendor compliance policies and procedures.
  • Build, train, and manage a team of qualified maintenance and landscaping employees.
  • Manage inventory, maintenance budget, and P&L.
  • Ensure commercial property maintenance is performed efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Utilize work order management software to streamline operations.
  • Lead capital projects and handle major and emergency maintenance issues.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance, particularly in managing a diverse range of businesses.
  • Strong background in commercial property maintenance.
  • Experience with work order management software.
  • Capital project management experience.
  • Expertise in major maintenance and emergency maintenance protocols.
  • Bi-lingual Spanish and English speaking candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
