Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Contribute to user stories / backlog, prioritization & backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint execution, verification and release by working with the Product Team
  • Clarify technical feasibility, alternatives & provide inputs to the Product Designer
  • Contribute to backlog especially for refactoring
  • Develop software code for sprint user stories
  • Engineer production-quality code to deploy these solutions in a serverless, microservices architecture
  • Enhance testing platforms, improve test automation, foster software craftsmanship
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of our solutions
  • Collaborate with multi-skilled teams working on commercial/fleet software solutions
  • Engage in Test-first Development, Test Driven Development
  • Cloud development using cutting-edge technologies and integrations with enterprise systems
  • Improve team's ability to continuously integrate and deploy solutions and manage issues


Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience with fullstack development using object-oriented programming languages as but not limited to: Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, etc.
  • Strong backend development experience using Java
  • Experience building interactive front end components using Angular
  • 5+ years of experience with:
  • Modern databases (Relational and non-relational)
  • Continuous integration/continuous delivery tools and pipelines, such as: (Jenkins, Terraform, SonarQube, Maven, Gradle, Harness, Apigee X)
  • 3+ years of experience developing and deploying to cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure
  • Familiar with eXtreme Programming (XP) practices including Pair/Mob programming and Test-first/Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Willingness to work in a pair programming environment


Compensation:

$60/hr to $70/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
