For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to $8,000 sign-on for Paramedics

o Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a full-time Paramedic position. Bonus amount prorated for part-time hires. Per diem hires are ineligible.

o Current MaineHealth employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth member employees are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Summary:
The Paramedic role provides both basic and advanced life support during emergency pre-hospital and interfacility transfer care to patients when indicated by the patient‘s injury or illness in accordance with state and local protocols.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Completion of Paramedic Course required.

2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Paramedic required. Valid Driver‘s License required. Current BLS certification required. PIFT Certification required within six months of start date. Locations in New Hampshire require a NH Paramedic License with a National Registry Paramedic License.

3. Experience: One year of relevant experience preferred.
