Job Description:
The VP/Commercial Loan Administration Supervisor'sprimary responsibility will be to lead, supervise and support a team of Commercial Loan Administrators. This includes but not limited to driving the Bank's performance metrics and goals, fostering an environment of growth and accountability, and effectively communicating key decisions and priorities impacting the Commercial Loan Administration team.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
The duties include but are not limited to the following:
People Management:
• Responsible for training, coaching and mentoring of all Commercial Loan Administration Assistants.
• Establish performance metrics, goals and objectives for all Commercial Loan Administration Assistants that are aligned with the Bank's objectives. Conduct performance reviews to monitor and measure the Loan Administration teams success.
• Responsible for managing and administering the Commercial Loan Administration teams personnel issues and requests, including time-off, timecards and performance reviews.
• Facilitate a culture and environment receptive to change, which includes planning, implementing, and supporting organizational change.
Position Specific:
• Observe the Bank's processes and systems and bring forward ideas and solutions for operational efficiencies.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for the Loan Origination system; bring forward recommendations for enhanced policy and protocol management.
• Supervise and take ownership of all aspects of loan processing, including documentation, funding, disbursement, electronic signature application and compliance review.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness in loan files, verifying that all necessary documentation is properly executed and recorded.
• Collaborate with loan officers and underwriters to resolve any issues or discrepancies in loan applications or documentation.
• Remain current on changes within the legal, regulatory environment with lending functions.
• Responsible to respond, report, and recommend changes with respect to Internal Audits completed for Commercial Loan Administration functions.
• Perform specific and delegated duties as assigned by the Commercial Loan Administration Manager.

Minimum Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in loan administration or related role, with at least 3 years in a supervisory position.
• Strong knowledge of lending regulations, compliance requirements, and community banking practices.
• Proficiency in loan processing software and Microsoft Office Suite

- Previous experience working for a locally owned or operated community bank

- Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is inside a central heat and air-conditioned office building. The noise level in the work environment is minimal.
