Merchandising Operations Specialist

We are hiring a Merchandising Operations Specialist to join a top ecommerce company in Plantation, FL. This is a 6-month contract role with the potential to extend and will be based in their South Florida office on a hybrid basis.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage and answer direct vendor requests through CRM under Service Level Agreements (SLA) and KPIs related to speed and quality
  • Process setup of new vendors and new promotions through validation of data, conversion to brand standards, and integration into various systems
  • Draft and maintain the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for internal processes
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and proactively drive resolutions to issues and escalations
  • Monitor KPIs and queue status through existing Tableau reporting dashboard, Excel, and other data tools
  • Participate in process improvement projects (test documentation/execution, issue identification, etc.)


Required Qualifications:


  • BA in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related degree
  • 1+ years of related work experience and demonstrated track record of innovation and impact
  • Results oriented mindset with the ability to react quickly to requests in a timely, accurate and detail-oriented manner
  • Experience using dashboards to monitor KPIs, identify and correct defects, perform root cause analysis on KPI misses
  • Ability to independently collaborate with merchants and deliver results on tight timelines
  • Ability to operate in ambiguous environments with speed and commitment to quality
  • Proficient Excel and MS Office skills
  • Strong oral and written communication
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Position may require occasional travel
  • Prior experience in Software Quality Processes and Atlassian Tools such as (Confluence, JIRA, etc.)
  • Prior experience SQL
  • E-commerce or merchandising background
