We are recruiting for a distinguished boutique law firm located in Boca Raton, Florida, specializing in commercial real estate transactions. Our firm is known for its commitment to providing high-quality legal services and personalized attention to each client. We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join our dynamic team and contribute to our continued success.


Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal with at least 5 years of experience in handling commercial real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UCC filings, closing binders, and a comprehensive understanding of commercial real estate law. This role involves working closely with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders to facilitate the smooth execution of real estate transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Management: Assist attorneys with the preparation, review, and organization of documents related to commercial real estate transactions, including purchase agreements, leases, and loan documents.
  • UCC Filings: Handle Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) filings, including preparation, submission, and tracking of UCC-1 and UCC-3 forms.
  • Closing Binders: Compile and prepare closing binders, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate for transaction closings.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct due diligence tasks, including title and survey review, property research, and verification of legal and financial aspects of transactions.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, brokers, and other parties involved in transactions to gather information and provide updates.
  • Document Management: Organize and maintain electronic and physical files, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with firm protocols.
  • Compliance: Ensure all transactions comply with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
  • Legal Research: Perform legal research as needed to support transaction processes and provide informed recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal with a focus on commercial real estate transactions.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
  • Skills: Proficiency in UCC filings, closing binder preparation, and commercial real estate documentation. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Software: Double Time, legal research tools, document management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, clients, and other team members.
