Job Description:

• Responsible for ocean and air freight pricing procurement.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with shipping lines, airlines, and other service providers.
• Process RFQ’s and other requests received from customers, sales executives, and overseas offices.
• Communicate with agents and offices overseas to request origin and destination charges. 
• Communicate with operations and other departments to provide guidance on how to book and bill shipments based on quotations offered.
• Develop back up plans to offer multiple options during high season to avoid shipping delays.
• Collect, analyze, and report market intelligence.
• Maintain metrics to measure performance of the pricing department.

·       Adheres to company, federal, state, and local business requirements, enforcing compliance and acting when necessary.

Background Required: 

·       International and domestic transportation experience (02 years)

·       Experience working with asset carriers directly or through vendor management.

·       RFQ management through proposals.

·       Analyze rate/routing options supporting sales.

·       Maintain pricing templates.

·       Develop & manage KPIs (e.g., compliance, margin, audit).

·       Power user with MS Office software, particularly Excel.

Background Preferred (but not required):

·       Vendor management

·       Bi-lingual English/Spanish

·       Education: College graduate
