SHEIN is hiring the Industrial Engineering Manager for IE Team based in Seattle. The IE team is a group of operational leaders driving process and operational system optimization, layout design, automation, and continuous improvement for the US Fulfillment Network. This team is essential to establish best in class network performance across all process paths, accelerate implementation of technological advancements and to strengthen the technical acumen and process knowledge for the operational leaders across the FC network.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for the warehouse automation planning and excellent execution; Describes key measures of success associated with the use of automation machineries.
  2. Cites examples of usage or application of electrical design in automating supply chain processes. Demonstrates knowledge of understanding schematics and can describe common mechanical components of DC and FC equipment.
  3. Familiar with warehouse automation equipment and the corresponding mode of operation, able to realize the output and review of planning drawings according to the properties of the equipment;
  4. Responsible for multiple projects simultaneously, from concept realization through design approval; Design high quality, cost effective solutions fulfillment and distribution systems;
  5. Effectively communicate with the supplier and control the project implementation, compliance implementation process, and timely feedback and problem solving; Be the suppliers’ primary point of technical contact for your projects
  6. Support and collaborate with the Operation team to ensure that the system you’ve designed is successfully installed, commissioned and launched.


Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor degree or above, preferably majoring in industrial engineering, logistics engineering, logistics management, mechanical engineering, etc;
  2. 6+ years of relevant work experiences in warehouse planning, design and implementation in top E-commerce companies; Skilled in warehouse infrastructure, electricity, network and other engineering needs, with the ability to design warehouse layouts, to complete planning solutions, drawing layout diagrams, listing equipment details and budget;
  3. Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, robotics and/or high-speed manufacturing; Proficiency with concepts like system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and decision making
  4. Experience using business/technical software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software
  5. Experience working in a fast-paced environment similar to a high-tech start-up; Works well under pressure with the ability to prioritize competing deliverables;

Ability to travel 25%, including globally


Pay: Base $100,000 min. - $140,000max annually, plus, bonus & RSU offered.
