As an Accounts Payable Manager you will lead a team of 12-15 A/P staff members who support the day-to-day A/P operations for HCA Physician Services Group.

Job Summary And Qualifications


What you will do in this role:

  • Manage a team of 12- 15
  • Review all 1099’s for processing, perform any additions or deletions of 1099’s before the cut off and answer all questions about 1099’s
  • Monitor Accounts Payable department performance measures and ensure performance meets or exceeds standards
  • Compile required and special reports on operating activity of the department
  • Train 3rd party billing companies on HCAPS refund policy and procedures
  • Direct employee training to improve efficiency and ensure conformance with standard procedures and practices
  • Conducts departmental staff meetings and communicates operational problems to staff
  • Update and write various policies and manuals as needed, and explains procedural changes or practices to staff


What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field is required
  • 3+ years of experience of Accounts Payable, Accounting or Auditing experience
  • 2 years experience in healthcare preferred
  • Supervisory experience
