AWS Finance seeks a Finance Manager to support Just Walk Out (JWO), an exciting and growing service within the AWS Applied AI Solutions portfolio. This role offers direct business partnership support and will work closely with senior finance management and key business partners to drive product/service pricing, cost forecasting and optimization, financial planning, decision support, and controllership.Key job responsibilities:Leading and influencing strategic financial decisions to drive long-term growth and profitability including evaluating pricing strategies and investments in new services and featuresCritical owner of P&L components, requiring direct partnership with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Sales to assess financial implications of initiatives to accelerate revenue growth, improve profitability, and improve free cash flowInfluencing private pricing structures to enable top line growth while ensuring controllership and margin protectionManaging projects that significantly impact the business including partnering with engineering teams to identify and implement infrastructure cost optimizationsLeading the OP1/OP2 and R&O planning processes including continuously evolving the forecasting approach to align with changing business needs and clearly presenting business drivers and narratives to senior leadershipContribute with deep-dive analyses and insights in Weekly, Quarterly and Monthly Business ReviewsBasic Qualifications:5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experienceBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)Preferred Qualifications:6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experienceExperience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of resultsMBA, or CPAKnowledge of SQL/ETL6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experienceAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
