Job SummaryeLoghomes is hiring a Vice President, Finance/Controller to lead the company’s full finance and accounting function. This executive role is responsible for financial reporting, accounting operations, budgeting/forecasting (FP&A), tax compliance, audits, cash management/treasury, lender and covenant compliance, insurance administration, and executive-level decision support. The VP, Finance/Controller will also help drive improvements to financial systems, reporting, and business intelligence.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee all finance and accounting operations, including:Month-end close, quarter-end close, year-end closeGAAP financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)General ledger, reconciliations, AR/AP, cash management, internal controlsManage FP&A processes:Annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and KPI/operating metrics reportingDetailed monthly P&L and variance analysisCash flow forecasting and balance sheet forecastingManage working capital and liquidity:Cash planning, funding availability, and short-term/long-term financial performance initiativesEnsure financial compliance and governance:Maintain records and reporting in accordance with US GAAPStrengthen internal controls, policies, and finance processesExternal relationships and compliance:Lead coordination for external audits and implement audit recommendationsSupervise federal, state, and local tax reporting (income, sales/use, property, payroll, and other required filings)Manage lender reporting, covenant compliance, collateral monitoring, and banking relationshipsOversee insurance programs and claims processingStrategic partnership:Provide financial analysis for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiationsPartner with the CEO and leadership team on strategic initiatives and operational decision-makingSystems and process improvement:Drive continuous improvement and support financial systems upgrades (ERP, CRM integration, reporting tools)Develop dashboards and management reporting to increase business intelligenceLeadership:Build and develop the finance team; instill strong financial discipline, accountability, and performance cultureRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance10+ years of progressively responsible financial leadership7+ years combined public accounting and private industry accounting experience preferredStrong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, internal controlsDemonstrated experience leading month-end close and producing accurate, timely financial statementsStrong analytical, decision-making, and communication skillsHigh integrity and strong professional referencesAbility to manage multiple projects/priorities in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsCPA certificationExperience working with private equity partners and executive/board reportingExperience with treasury, loan compliance, covenants, collateral reportingIndustry experience in manufacturing, building materials, wood products, construction, or homebuildingERP experience; Epicor ERP a plusExperience implementing an ERP and integrating with CRM and project management platformsExperience supporting M&A / due diligenceWork LocationCorporate Headquarters: Rocky Mount, NC areaNot a remote position; limited hybrid may be considered after initial periodCompensation and BenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits (details provided during the interview process).Equal Opportunity EmployereLoghomes is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
