Central Michigan University is seeking a Vice President to oversee the Innovation and Online enterprise. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and collaboration for all aspects of off-campus and online program delivery.ResponsibilitiesEstablish, communicate, and implement the vision and long-range goals, strategies, objectives, and plans for the enterprise.Oversee several administrative areas, including Online Student Services, Business and Community Outreach, Academic and Professional Programs, and Noncredit and Alternative Enrollment.Support the Leadership Standards of Central Michigan University and foster a culture that inspires excellence.Represent CMU in online and distance learning in various venues.Plan, develop, organize, communicate, implement, direct, and evaluate CMU Innovation and Online effectiveness.RequirementsTerminal degree from a regionally accredited institution.Administrative and academic experience in positions with progressive leadership responsibilities.Experience serving adult learners and delivering academic programs through diverse modalities.Experience in online instruction and online and distance learning program design and delivery.Strong record of budgeting and financial planning experience.Preferred QualificationsExperience in career development and life-long learning.Experience in a collective bargaining environment.Experience gathering and using data to develop, implement, and evaluate initiatives.CMU is an Equal Opportunity Employer and institution.
