Business Development SpecialistCity Wide Facility Solutions is on the lookout for a dynamic Business Development Specialist to join our talented team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving growth by identifying new business opportunities and establishing connections with potential clients. Your primary focus will be generating leads through proactive outreach via phone calls, emails, and social media platforms. As a Business Development Specialist, you will collaborate closely with our sales team to schedule qualified appointments and provide valuable insights into market trends. Your ability to research businesses and effectively communicate the benefits of our services will be key to your success. Our Sales Team is growing, and you'll have incredible opportunities to grow with us If you are self-motivated, goal-oriented, and passionate about driving sales, we want to hear from youEssential Functions:Find and research businesses that would benefit from City Wide's servicesMake phone calls to prospective clientsSchedule qualified appointments for City Wide's outside sales teamManage and update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database, including scheduled calls, updated client records, notes from each call and appointments setPrepare accurate reports on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis as defined by managementAchieve or exceed monthly activity and lead generation metrics to achieve revenue targets as set by managementSend all City Wide information requested by prospects along with appropriate correspondenceOther duties as necessaryRequirements:High School Diploma required; bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred1-3 years of experience in business development, lead generation, or a sales roleStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Experience with CRM systems is required. Microsoft Dynamics is a plusAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentProven ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectivelyHustle You must be willing to do 80 sales activities per dayThis is an in-person position. The role is a full time non-exempt in-person position. Benefits include 3% Safe Harbor 401k contribution, company contribution to health, vision, dental, and life insurance, and generous PTO and paid holiday plan.
