Position Summary
Our client is looking for a System Specialist to join the team The Specialist will be responsible for Windows upgrades Windows Patch & Vulnerability Remediation and will provide support with all associated testing prior to deployment and process improvement.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree required or related experience
  • Bachelors Degree Preferred
  • 12 years experience with Microsoft Patching

Basic skills:
  • Server and System Engineering
  • Has a basic understanding of WSUS
  • Current with the latest technologies
  • Wellversed in OS types such as Windowsand 2012 technologies and versions associated with IE in a support application environment
  • Extremely documentfocused with a high degree of skills in Microsoft Office
  • Excel PowerPoint Word Project Visio and other tools to show results and demonstrate solutions
  • Asset Management experience with tools and process
Experience:
  • Experience with AntiVirus technologies
  • Deliver a highquality IT service including security policies and uptodate patching for software
  • Experience working with Group Policy Administration
  • Experience working with: Microsoft Active Directory
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products such as SharePoint UAG IIS and SQL server
  • Knowledge of authentication methods from application to AD such as NTLM Kerberos and LDAP as well as protocols such as SSH SMTP SNMP DNS HTTP HTTPS and network protocols
  • Familiar with Microsoft patching schedules and methods
