Job Overview

The Leidos Multi Domain Solutions Division is seeking an experienced Windows Systems Engineer to support a fast-paced program with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center.

About the Role

This Windows Systems Engineer will assist in integrating security practices into our Environment Development and Management team, ensuring the security and integrity of windows servers and workstations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and workstations (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022) within a DoD program environment.
  • Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Manage system patches, upgrades, and security hardening in compliance with DoD policies.
  • Provide support for system backups, disaster recovery, and data integrity.
  • Assist in managing system access, user accounts, and security configurations.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to support software deployments and integrations.
  • Ensure system documentation is maintained and up to date.
  • Participate in incident response and resolve issues related to system performance, security, and availability.

Requirements:

  • US Citizen with an active Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of experience or master's degree in computer science or similar field.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS management.
  • Strong understanding of system security, patch management, and performance tuning.
  • Proficiency in scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell).

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is $68,900.00 - $124,550.00, depending on qualifications and experience.
