As a Member Service Representative, you will be the face of our credit union, building connections with our members and ensuring they receive personalized assistance to meet their financial needs. You'll be in direct contact with the members assisting on a variety of transactions ranging from opening accounts to applying for loans.CoVantage invests in our team members The pay for this role is $17.25-30.79 per hour. Your starting pay rate will be based on your related experience and qualifications. You'll also be eligible for the equivalent of an additional $12.00 per hour in benefits. Benefits include a 401k employer match of up to 200%, a bonus of annual salary up to 4%, a generous employer HSA contribution, and paid time off for community service. *Based on an individual earning $16.00 per hour, electing specific benefit packages, and achieving full bonus.Job Duties:Assists members in opening new accounts, processing transactions, applying for loans, and providing accurate information on various financial products and servicesDemonstrates efficiency and professionalism to members by providing warm, welcoming, and personalized service to every member who visits or contacts the credit unionProvides members with information regarding credit union products and services and refers the member to the appropriate person or department if unable to provide the member with information requestedUnderstands and assesses members' financial needs to educate on and offer suitable products and services that align with their goalsCollaborates with other team members and departments to achieve organizational goals and maintain a positive and supportive work environmentParticipates in community events and outreach programs to promote financial literacy and cultivate strong ties with local residents and organizationsThis individual will work a varied schedule including working multiple Saturdays per month.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum 1 years' experience working in a financial institution or service or sales related capacity or Associate's DegreeStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in direct, professional contact with a wide variety of people on a daily basisExhibits above average performance accuracy, productivity, and member serviceIs punctual and maintains a neat, professional appearance and demonstrates proper business telephone etiquetteWorking knowledge of software programs such as Microsoft Office and Windows programsDetailed knowledge of the credit union and its servicesBilingual fluency preferred, but not requiredBranch Hours: Monday-Thursday: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Friday: 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday: 8:30 am to NoonEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
