They also provide adequate backup in reception coverage by assisting in greeting outpatients, collation and handling incoming calls. In supporting the practice physicians this position will be responsible for surgical scheduling.Responsibilities:Administrative support to Physicians and Senior Staff in the OfficeSurgical SchedulingBackup to Registration AssociatesOther duties as assignedWhat you will need:Associate's degree in Administrative Medical Secretary or similar major or 5 years of related experience.Surgical scheduling experience requiredFamiliar with physician's office proceduresGood oral communication and interpersonal skillsWorking knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, excel, graphicsHS Diploma / GED RequiredPay range: $20.20-$26.50 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
