Our large financial services client is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to play a key role in managing investments, consolidations, and deposit reporting. In this position, you'll handle complex financial data, collaborate across teams, and contribute to critical regulatory filingsall while driving process improvements and staying ahead of evolving accounting standards.If you want to take your accounting career to the next level in an organization that values accuracy, innovation, and collaboration, apply todayResponsibilitiesOversee month-end closing activities for investments, consolidation, and deposits.Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.Conduct monthly and quarterly fluctuation analyses at the general ledger and financial statement levels.Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations for accuracy and completeness.Develop and review board reports, including supporting schedules.Assist in preparing sections of financial statements and regulatory filings (SEC and others).Coordinate and collaborate with auditors and update SOX control narratives.Prepare and review banking regulatory reports, such as quarterly Call and FRY reports.Lead and contribute to process improvement initiatives and special projects.Collaborate across teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.QualificationsCPA preferred; strong knowledge of US GAAP.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's preferred).3+ years of experience in public accounting or corporate accounting with skills in investment accounting, consolidation, and regulatory reporting.Background in financial services industry strongly preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex financial data.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.High attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Ability to work extended hours during peak reporting periods.Willingness to adapt to evolving regulatory and accounting standards.SalaryThe annual salary for this role ranges between $85K $95K depending upon relevant experience.Our client provides competitive benefits including health insurance, 401K, tuition reimbursement, and paid time offAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
