Job Description:
  • Provide Occupational Therapy services to individuals aged 21 and above in Group homes, Nursing homes, and Private residences
  • Assess client's progress and engagement in occupations that impact their well-being and quality of life
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, offering guidance on interventions
  • Deliver therapeutic services to clients with autism spectrum disorder and sensory needs
  • Educate clients on effective task approaches and provide mentorship for achieving small goals
  • Offer support and guidance to family members and caregivers
  • Monitor and document client progress towards treatment milestones
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and family information as per HIPAA and State/Federal regulations
Position Requirements:
  • Active Occupational Therapy License
  • Minimum of an MS degree in Occupational Therapy
  • At least 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience working with Adults and Geriatrics
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to details
  • Energetic, animated, and outgoing personality with a dedication to helping clients reach their full potential
  • Excellent Clinical and Interpersonal Skills
  • Strong Written and Oral Communication Skills
