Required Skills & Experience

  • 1+ years of experience working in the field, either residential or commercial, in your trade of which you are certified or have the equivalent work experience for HVAC (Preferred), Electrical, or Mechanical
  • Must be local to Reno and have the ability to work a flexible shift as this team is 24/7.
  • Must be willing to work 45 hour shifts per week, this could include graveyard shifts, weekends, and or holidays (3 – 12 hour shifts)
  • Must have an active driver's license - company car provided when needed.
  • Must be able to pass a background check, drug test that includes THC, and have a clear driving history.


Nice to Have Skills & Experience

  • Relevant working in a corporate building environment; more specifically a candidate who has worked in a data center type of environment would be a huge plus.
  • A certification from a trade school in one of the following areas: HVAC (Preferred), Electrical, or Mechanical)


Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an HVAC Technician level 1 to join a major data center client of ours out of Reno. In this role you will be a part of the Data Center Operations team, supporting the environments HVAC, Electrical, and Mechanical systems. This team is 24/7, and shifts adjust every couple of week, when you are assigned to the graveyard shift there is a 1 dollar differential. Finally you need to be able to lift 50 Lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
