We're looking for a mixed methods researcher who can generate evidence-based insights that empower better health outcomes. #everydaybetter Key job responsibilities * Lead comprehensive healthcare journey mapping and Jobs-to-be-Done research to understand clinician, provider and patient needs. * Design and execute mixed-method research studies that address sensitive healthcare topics, including in-clinic patient visits, central health record management, and telehealth experiences. * Inform segmentation studies and persona development specific to healthcare audiences. * Work with cross-functional teams to integrate insights into product development and roadmaps. * Synthesize findings from healthcare research workstreams to identify patterns and opportunities across the health experience. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of proven success leading User Research projects with demonstrated impact experience - 5+ years of hands-on work with: field research, ethnography, lab-based user testing, remote testing, paper prototype testing, iterative prototype testing, concept testing, and survey design experience - Experience in leading User Research projects with demonstrated impact - Experience with field research, ethnography, lab-based user testing, remote testing, paper prototype testing, iterative prototype testing, concept testing, and survey design - Experience with all aspects of research (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting) - Experience with behavioral data collection, quantitative data analysis, and statistics - Have a portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables (e.g., study plans, reports, personas) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Master's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field - Experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, or experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines - Strong understanding of healthcare privacy concerns and trust-building research methods, including the handling of protected health information (PHI). - Expertise in zero to one and generative research methodologies. The base pay for this position ranges from $137,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $226,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
