Position Overview: As the 3rd Shift Sanitation/Quality Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of sanitation and product quality in our operations. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will lead a team of sanitation and quality staff, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, food safety standards, and company policies. Your leadership and expertise will drive the continuous improvement of our sanitation and quality processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of sanitation and quality staff on the 3rd shift.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Oversee and improve sanitation and quality processes.
  • Act as a direct liaison between general production and management regarding quality issues.
  • Manage and prioritize tasks independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Supervisory Management, Food Science, Microbiology, or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of progressively responsible lead or supervisory experience in production and/or manufacturing. Food sanitation/quality experience preferred.
  • Specific knowledge and experience with sanitation chemicals, processes, and safe handling practices.
  • High level of confidentiality required.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proficient in oral and written communication.
  • Knowledge of ERP computer systems and Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
