Position Description

We are looking for an Operations Support Specialist to join our retail team. The role entails supporting day-to-day operations in order management and fulfillment, as well as maintaining SAP and customer setups. The ideal candidate must have exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in processes, and implementing improvements to drive overall operational excellence.


Position Responsibilities

  • Manage daily retail orders in SAP and ensure all order blocks are addressed with the appropriate teams promptly as outlined by Sales Teams.
  • Work with internal distribution teams to ensure Drop -Ship orders are fulfilled within customer requirements.
  • Maintain system data standards as it pertains to new part setup, UOM conversions, new customer data setups, and inventory feeds within SAP.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Customer Data, Material Data, Customer Service, and Distribution teams to streamline processes and improve communication.
  • Work as liaison with Sales Teams to implement operational strategies and efficiencies within CommerceHub, Quote Center, and Special-order processes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new systems and processes, maintain documentation of operational procedures and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of direct work experience in a sales/customer-facing capacity
  • Proficient knowledge of SAP software
  • Experience with EDI and system technologies
  • Skilled in Microsoft applications like Excel, Word and Sharepoint
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as being a self-starter
  • Ability to work well across various departments
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Must have the ability to work well within a business environment and the ability to multitask
