The State Accounting Office (SAO) provides accounting and financial reporting expertise for the State and is statutorily responsible for statewide financial reporting. The SAO also provides enterprise oversight and management of the State’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, accounting policy development, financial business process improvement recommendations, and management of the payroll and accounting shared service centers. Local candidates are strongly preferred.
- Consult with functional and technical staff to ensure that the functionality of automated systems meets user requirements
- Serve as liaison between functional and technical teams in the implementation or enhancement of systems
- Proven working experience in an enterprise ERP implementation (I.e., Workday, Oracle, SAP, etc.)
- Experience with state or public sector organizations
- Experience with large-scale business transformation projects
