Aviation Construction Superintendent

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Aviation Construction Superintendent to oversee all aspects of ground up construction projects in the aviation industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of projects while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise all construction activities on site
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines
  • Oversee subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring they adhere to project specifications and timelines
  • Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful completion of projects
  • Maintain project documentation, including progress reports, budgets, and change orders
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ground up construction
  • Experience in aviation, hangar, pre-engineered construction, concrete, and steel/concrete design
  • Experience in general contracting
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred
