We are looking for passionate, hard-working, and talented individuals to join the growing Takt Customer Success team as an Industrial Solutions Engineer.


Takt’s Customer Success team plays a pivotal role across the entire customer journey, including driving customer pilots, system adoption, and expansion programs. This individual should have a background in industrial engineering or labor management, be able to see the big picture on behalf of our customers, and translate operational challenges into actionable solutions using Takt's platform.


The Customer Success team are experts in guiding the onboarding process to Takt’s platform and are comfortable working directly with customers to ensure success. They understand the challenges and goals of large warehouse and distribution operations and provide input to shape the Takt Platform in partnership with our Product and Engineering teams.


Above all - the Customer Success team is passionate about their customer, and serves as trusted advisors that drive continued account growth.


This role is located in our Reston, VA office. This role may require up to 50% travel.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Serve as the primary post-sale point of contact, developing strong relationships at all levels of the organization to become a trusted partner.
  • Leverage your background in industrial engineering or labor management to facilitate the successful implementation of Takt’s software, including product onboarding, training, and ongoing support.
  • Understand customer needs and translate operational challenges into software use cases during the pre-sales and post-sales process.
  • Drive customer outcomes, product adoption, and provide world-class customer experiences.
  • Engage with senior leadership within customer organizations, delivering valuable insights and data-driven recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain tailored documentation and training resources for end users.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to architect solutions for customers, identifying opportunities for expansion and optimizing performance.
  • Represent Takt as a domain and product expert in external interactions, industry events, and client-facing discussions.


What You Should Have

  • BA/BS or equivalent – Industrial Engineering or related fields preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in industrial engineering, labor management, or continuous improvement roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement, workflow design, and system configuration.
  • Strong understanding of Customer Success best practices, particularly within the context of logistics or supply chain technology.
  • Ability to work with senior-level executives to define strategy and demonstrate ROI.
  • Experience designing and implementing solutions for complex operational environments.
  • Comfort with cross-functional collaboration and ambiguity.


Nice to Have

  • Knowledge in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields
  • Experience with training or developing adult learning resources
  • Demonstrated ability to use business tools such as Linear, Hubspot, Zendesk, etc.
  • Previous experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Labor Management Systems (LMS)
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
