Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at MPW Industrial Services. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing new products and tooling for our Industrial Cleaning Group and Facilities Management Divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with engineering teams to develop designs for new products and tooling.
  • Design, create, and develop new designs for optimization of employee safety and industry competitiveness.
  • Ensure drawing accuracy, compliance with organizational standards, and best practices for new and redesigned products.
  • Act as MPW operations, fabrication, and maintenance technical liaison and MPW Customer Service liaison for engineering questions.
  • Act as MPW representative for field service or customer technical support.
  • Create drawings and 3D models for products/tooling.
  • Develop new designs or design improvements to support operations and facilities.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in engineering-related field or relevant drafting experience.
  • Proficiency in Windows (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) and 2D and 3D CAD experience, SolidWorks preferred.
  • Electrical drafting experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and math skills.
  • Ability to understand and use hand-measuring instruments.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Travel to field service sites and customer sites as needed.
  • Interact with customers, sales, field service, and application teams and provide support as needed.
