This is an individual contributor role that is responsible for providing strategic direction and implementing key initiatives with regards to the overall compensation strategy for the organization. This position will be the subject matter expert for the company with regards to pay grades, salary structures, and bonus structures to ensure a robust compensation offering that will ensure we are competitive in the marketplace. The incumbent will play a key role in policy development, regulatory compliance, and communication of compensation-related information.Market Analysis and BenchmarkingConducts market research and analysis to determine competitive salary ranges for various rolesParticipates in compensation surveys and analyzes data from various sourcesDevelops and maintains salary structures and pay gradesParticipates in career ladder development and ongoing maintenanceProgram Development and AdministrationAssists in the development and implementation of compensation programs, including base pay, bonuses, and incentive plansEvaluates job positions and determines appropriate classifications and salary levelsAdministers compensation programs and ensures compliance with relevant laws and regulationsManage compensation cycles (merit, annual and quarterly bonuses) and coordinate activities with the Workday teamData Analysis and ReportingAnalyzes compensation data and trends to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvementPrepares reports and presentations for management on compensation-related mattersUtilizes Workday and other analytical tools to manage compensation dataCommunication and ConsultationProvides guidance and support to HR business partners and managers on compensation-related mattersCommunicates compensation information to employees in a clear and transparent mannerSupports Total Rewards initiatives and other HR projects.Skills and Experience:3+ years of experience in compensation analysis, including experience with base pay, bonuses, and incentive plansA bachelor's degree is preferred; however, equivalent professional experience will be consideredStrong analytical and data interpretation skills, including experience with HRIS systems and other analytical tools. Workday advanced compensation module experience strongly preferredProficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and other analytical functionsKnowledge of compensation principles, practices, and regulations, including FLSA, pay equity, and other relevant lawsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex information to various audiencesStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExperience with job evaluation methodologies and market pricingUnderstanding of the broader HR functionIn accordance with pay transparency regulations, the anticipated starting salary for this position ranges from $80k-$100k USD annually. Full-time employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and a range of benefits. Please note that this salary range is not guaranteed, and the final offer may vary based on experience, education, location, and shift.
