Clutch is searching for a passionate and experienced Creative Director Copywriter to join our client's team and lead their copywriting efforts. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling and persuasive messaging across all channels, ensuring their clients achieve their marketing goals.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic copywriting plans for a diverse range of pharmaceutical brands and products.
  • Partner with creative directors, account teams, and medical/scientific teams to ensure copy adheres to brand strategy, regulatory requirements, and target audience needs.
  • Craft clear, concise, and engaging copy for various marketing materials, including websites, brochures, medical education materials, patient support programs, and social media content.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including disease states, treatment options, and healthcare professional (HCP) and patient communication best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date on current industry trends and regulations, including FDA guidelines and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) advertising regulations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of copywriters, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
  • Oversee the quality and consistency of all copy produced by the team.


Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in pharmaceutical copywriting or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing successful marketing campaigns for pharmaceutical brands.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, disease states, and HCP/patient communication.
  • Exceptional writing skills with a focus on clarity, conciseness, and persuasion.
  • Experience with various copywriting styles and formats.
  • In-depth knowledge of FDA and DTC advertising regulations.
  • A collaborative and team-oriented work style.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
